What a missirable day. 3 of these triangle windows, in the full on sun. The floors were freshly waxed wood. I figured that out as I was near the top and the bottom started to slide out. I was able to grab the edge of the window and pull the ladder back up with the toes before it went. Yea, I know ... Lesson learned.

I feel like firing myself when I book jobs like this on a monday...

I hate when customers think they need to have everything done before the installer and puts on film. they clean everything up inlcuding (waxing floors) and on top of that they leave they're things in the way.

I had to catch a fellow coworker one time because of waxed hardwood floors, he came sliding down the wall and almost took out 2 very large panes. to prevent the sliding of the ladder use that mesh grip that u put in the cabnets or in the tool box to keep things from sliding around. I use it all the time when the floor is anything but carpet.

Or you could use a couple of 16 penny nails they should hold pretty good in a hardwood floor

Thanks, yea, I went and picked up some double-sided sticky mat, used to hold carpets in place Even with an almost vertical ladder, it still started to slide. I should have thought of the nail idea
