Poor little sweety. Trying so hard to blend in. Kinda tough with a purple background. My lizards are having a problem too. Several times I discovered him in different locations on the deck. Pushed out of the nest too soon or got anxious and fell out. The nest is way up in the huge palm tree. Two other big ol' black birds were dashing around throwing a fit...whether they were parents ... or just making fun

He did make it around to the other side of the deck and up on the lattice where he could make it along the top of the fence where there's a 2 X 6 running all the way across for him to hop on along to the palm tree. There's morning glories growing up the fronds which touch the top of that 2 X 6 so it's possible for him to get home if he's smart enough. I didn't touch him. I tried to get close enough to shoo him on around in the right direction but he'd start fluttering and squirting poop all over the place.

Strangely enough... purple poop. Probably berries.
