I felted my car with pacific felts felt that I got from someone on this site, but I'm still getting a scratch in the passenger window in the exact same place where it scratched before I had my car felted. Is this normal? I thought it's not supposed to scratch with the felt. Is it because the felt I got isn't really pacific felts felt? It doesn't look like the factory felt. It just looks like felt cloth at fabric stores. I haven't taken my door panel off yet to check what happend, but I know I installed them correctly. I lined up the flat edge of the felt with the edge of the gaskets. I also cleaned the gaskets with rubbing alcohol before applying the felt.

the felt may have slid off.It may be helpful also to bend the metal base the felt sits on away from the glass to lessen the friction between glass and felt. I use a small cresent wrench to bent it .
