I'm wondering why so many people use #0000 when #00 will make it easier to scrub adhesive off the back glass. So anyone have experience using #00 and notice any scratches on glass or damage to defrosters?

now that I think of it, I even used copper scrubpads but with tons of solution before I knew about steel wool and never scratched the glass

I've used #00 for 11 years and not one problem.

Ditto. Except, add a few years. :)

yeah oldtinter, add some years for me in there too. Acutally I use #1 medium to scrub off the old glue and #0 fine to clean the back glass. Never one problem.
