Tinting over privacy glass?

I have a 96 toyota tacoma, where I want to increase the Reflectivity/Tint on the back glasses.

Its got privacy glass from the factory. Is there a tint, I can use to do this?

I tried on my old truck to no avail. I used a gold mirror behind the glass, and it didn't do anything.

Any suggestions from the pros?

Install it on the outside.......

I regularly install solarsteel 20 over privacy glass (on the inside) with a 19% VLR and it doesn't do anything. Nothing will.

It doesn't matter what you put behind privacy glass. It will only make it transmit less light. It will "enhance" the color from the outside but not change it.

Nothing you can do unless you replace your glass without the privacy and have it tinted.

yep anything applied on the inside will only make it darker.
