I have a 05 Honda Odyssey. It has a radio antenna imbedded in the right rear quarter glass. I had the glass timted by the tinter here at the dealership. My fm fades way quick going out of town and my am is almost non existent. If I do a scan through the am band I get one station. The dealership said its my aftermarket tinting interfering with the radio reception. Is this to be believed??

have the tint removed off the back window and put a NON METALIZED film in its place, problem solved.

This solution may very well help but I would get a bigger battery for the radio first to see if that helps :DD pep boys or auto zone might have one

if the antenna lines were "cleaned" with a razor blade

the reception would not improve with another film

:DD

surly a car dealer wouldn't lie :DD
