Johnson users..

Guest tinterjim

I've been using Johnsons greystone and have had nothing but great results. I also use LLumars ATR lumastar, the quality of both films is comparable. But the Johnsons dosen't interfere with radio or GPS signals, so I use it alot on back glass :dunno

OH BTW ... the SP and ES never ever gave me a problem in the past :please

Thanx for the input guys I'm trying out the johnson,Suntek and Global films..

Pricewise Johnson :please but I don't want it to come back and haunt me

y'know you get what you pay for..Global also has good price and heard

far better, more positive things about it..Suntek well we all know that there

are more Suntek users here than any other brand..I'm just saying that

cause of the poll results from one of the topics...So SunTek must be doin

something right..

I've only been back at it for a year, but Johnsons film is as good as any on the market IMO. You don't have to pay more just for a name. Customer service is awsome. Pre cut is awsome. Film is easy to work (even for tint challenged folks like myself) . They have really nice display kits. Professional all the way. Just made one . Glass to make was only 75.00 plus the 10.00 o :bingo r so for kit . Cant' beat it.

I forgot to mention , do stay away from the Ray Guard line. It will not hold up. The good thing about Johnson's is , if you ask, they will be honest and actually tell you this. But you gotta ask the question.

I luv Suntek HP but since I do so much tinting for stereo and upholstery shops I use Johnson RG. Seems everybody here loves a solid charcoal look and HP films look metallic so :coffee Plus I have to split bucks with these guys and the popular tint shop around here uses the cheaper llumar that bubbles in a couple years. I've tried upping prices in the past and using better quality films but damned near starved. Now I can compete and just barely make it. It sux to be here. Now I'm learning flat glass and since there's only one competitor it's good, but we're still limited cause it's still a fairly small town.

I have installed jwf on our personal van and from what I can see..the clearity is great and the color is good also..it matches the factory tint on the back of the van perfect..other then that I think it is a decent film

but I use suntek exclusively..great film, at a fare price.. :eyebrows

Guest SIR TINTSALOT

I use suntek hp for 90% of my work, customers love it and not many problems in four years of use.

I use jwf for some of my flat glass installs and no complaints here.

auto film is good but it is a little too shiny

I had a couple of guys with some johnson film both had audi S4's.

I dont remember the type of film but it was real shiny. upon installating and finishing, they were trying to complain why the film is so shiny...I told them "hey buddy that's what you brought me dont lay it on me"

two days the film was peeling and on the back window it was half way down peeling....... :dunno

I was like

"at least you know I one pieced it"

I think on certain films they do have adhesive problems..
