Heard radio DJ's talking of a proposal to hike gas tax by 40 cents to fund search for more oil and alternative fuel sources? :lol6

Isn't that what those billions in profit Exxon Mobile reported last year should be going to. Their in the business to supply, it's their responsibility to see to their continued growth... not the tax payers.

Don't know if they were talking tax on a national level or Statewide... I would think it is National since a State would not be looking for sources, the country would.

Sounds, too, like something that dumbazz in the white house would do.... yep, let's see, gas prices are going up... we should raise the gas tax, too. :rollin
