What are some of the application solutions that you use for installing vinyl lettering and graphics?

metal ?

glass ?

plastic ?

Or do you buy whats on the shelf at your local product sign supply store ?

will alchol destory the glue on vinyls?

When layering vinyl do you do it before you install it on your subsrait

or do you apply the layers to the the subsrtait one layer at atime?

normally on metal,glass, or plastic I always lay my first layer dry unless its just not possible.(if its to big etc.) when not possible I have used ProPrep but normally I just use a little soap and water. I have used alcohol but I'm not sure about the long term effects. as for layering, I use heavy soap and water. if the decal is small enough for me to handle I will lay the second layer dry and then tape it.

Why are you installing wet??

Sure, there are some circumstances where it's easier to install wet, buy primarily I just do a dry-stick........alot quicker and no dry-time.
