Need help tinting a bus

Hi, I'm looking to tint the following bus:

www.ksubus.com

We're on a budget, so it needs to be done rather inexpensively. We've found some tint on Ebay for cheap, but I'm worried that it will either look like crap or will bubble.

With that many windows, going the professional route is not feasible so we'll have to do it ourselves. The windows are all the same size and are flat, so that should make things easier. Any advice?

Many are under the impression that window tinting is a simple, do it yourself installation...until they attempt it. Most of the window tinting tips on this site will only be of value to window tinters with advanced skills.

Although the concept of tinting windows is relatively straight forward, in practice window tinting is an art, if you want professional results, take it to a window tinting professional.

Roll of ebay tint: $50

Carbon bladed knife: $1

Squeege: $5

Water bottle: $4

Baby shampoo: $2

Rolling around in a bus with gay-pride purple windows by the time football season is over picking up drunk college chicks: Priceless

Isn't the purpling a non-issue because of the school colors?

If it purpled, it wouldn't be too bad, as long as it was still doing its job - as he said purple is one of the school colors.

Our windows are exactly 20" tall which works out well for the crap on Ebay, it is all 20" x 50' or 100'. What will happen if we do get the stuff on Ebay

What brand do you recommend and how much would it cost to do a bus like that?

Thanks in advance. BTW, the website was updated yesterday.

We don't know how much it'll cost, we only know what we would charge, and we don't like discussing prices of anything around here. You'll probably end up trashing ALOT of film. Shiot, it's hard enough for a seasoned pro to do a good job on those things. :lol6 And E-Bay is not a place to get good film, soooooo take your chances. We're professionals around here, this is how we pay our bills, just like your work pays your bills. Hard to get excited about somebody bypassing our trade to destroy it himself. :poke Why don't you go to your local shop, and buy some real film off them, at least you'll be supporting our trade a LITTLE bit. Using professional services makes the world go round, and keeps the economy going.
