Governor Perdue (Ga.)

announced today, that all Georgia public schools would be closed Mon, and Tues to save gas.

It went up $.20/gal this afternoon, but crude stock prices are going down :beer

Here we go with another panic, and a :thumb week or two with 3-4 no-shows a day

This gas price crap will de-rail our economy in a heartbeat.

It sure kicked my buisiness in the nutz.

I have a friend ( yea I swear I really do :beer ) he drives a gas truck for sunoco. He told the price of gas per barrel hasn't changed since 1997. So WTF :thumb We are getting hammered why??

makes me think that Perdue is stupid. lets keep the busses parked to save gas and let the kids stay at home :lol2 I don't get it. I could see if we recieved damage from teh storm but just to save gas? "BS

they say gas in california is high because of the hurricanes and damage to the refineries but the oil companies got put on the spot when a reporter asked them our oil comes from the alaskan pipeline not the east coast of america, please enlighten us on this. the oil companies said they had no comment and that is the last question

I wonder what the gov't is going to do about this?

Nothing or charge some serious charges?

Prices here in Florida are still about the same maybe even lower.

Strange that GA is right above us and is getting charged up the azz
