Factory tint is not tint at all

Glass 101

Glass (with or without tint) Handles solar energy the following ways:

1) Reflection

2) Absorbs

3) Most important to the customer. ......And the answer is Transmission.

Now if heat (starting with 100% on the BTU meter with NO glass = X

And clear glass no factory tint = y

And @#$% Factory Tint absorbs 40% of heat, how is the resulting heat transmitted (let us call that value Z) be more?

Maybe I smoked to much Humbolt back in the day. I just don't get how that works.

Oh sure some heat is radiated inward, but assuming an ambient breeze of 7 mile per hour, or God forbid , the car actually moves with the occupants in it one would assume it throws off some heat OUTWARD. Therefore customer benefit rendered. Well I just don't get it.

wow, ive had a few (started a lil early tonight, still gotta be resposible till the liitle one goes to bed).

so what I am tinking is factory tint does not equal zero protection?

still sh!t compared to the benifits of a layer of film on top o the factory tint, but none the less sh!t.... I can hold sh!T in my hand, but not zero.
