newbie with viper 791xv?

just got a viper 791xv installed on my 05 dodge ram. I have tuned the error chirp off with the bitwriter due to the fact that I have it set on my dome light not my door ajar wire. but the problem I am having is that it arms fine but every time I dissrm I get the 4 beep error chirp saying that the driver door has been opened. please help any input will be great.

Your dome light is causing that. You need to hook it up to the door trigger.

ok now the only thing that appaers on the keypad is that the shock has been detected and the doors have not. but I think this could be from the door actuators triggering the shock when locking.

If you have a seperate microwave (motion) sensor

the sesnor's ground must go to ground when armed, not ground

or it will give false chirps
