I used to work for a guy who pulled every car outside with heater running full blast and the the defroster on for like an hour, it  was crazy, because every once and a while you'd have a car with a bad thermostat overheating in the parking lot, antifreeze everywhere..

:lol2 customer comes back to pick up his car, its hotter inside now then is was when he droped it off, then says maby I shoulda gone with the lighter tint :lol6

He wasn't in Sheffield AL was he?

That's where I first saw that concept about 7 years ago...

actually, it was in Columbus, GA., about 10 years ago, and he had always done it, he started tinting in the 70's!!?? Still TINT today at the same location, he might have trained that guy.

This should only be done with cars where the heating lines are inside a laminated back glass. When done on a car with the defroster lines on the surface it may "cook" the adhesive right around those lines resulting in an optical distortion. It can also make the fuse pop.
