I am located in howell, mi. near novi. was looking into offering services in tint, remote start, and paint protection films... I have a very small shop also I am working out of now. mostly need sugestions for getting work...

its called begging and it can get messy.

dealers will often try to tell you what youll do and how much youll do it for.

but impress them and theyll start to respect you enough to call some of the shots.

what types of places does everyone get work from? I was thinking of small custom accesiories and audio shops, and glass shops. anyone ever get much work from car dealers? :DD

dealerships are good, but I would recomend gitting to know the salesmen, and have them refer people to you directly,,,,,,if the dealer will allow that,,,,,,,, also oil change places, might let you put cards of flyers in the showroom for waiting customers.

iv'e been subcontracting tint work from dealerships, and audio shops for 11 years. it starts out slow but make a few good contacts even if it means giving it away at cost. it all comes back around. good luck

since you have a small place your city might not allow that much sq.ft in signage but you need to get that building noticed, banners are concidered temporary and code enforcment wont bother you, plus its the best price per sq ft. signage you can get besides a slab of particle board...but @#$% looking signs are worse than no signs!!
