I had a chance to work with another tinter in Philly yesturday and we were doing an install using Huper.. This guy has been in the field for like 18 years and knows his stuff inside and out.

Anyway, they were big windows, and we were up on a ladder hanging it... This one piece was flipped upside down and backwards... so he folds, flips, and turns the film like I have never seen before, and wouldn't you know it not a single crease or anything?!? I was standing there amazed :thumb as he was doing it.

I don't know if it was the film, or just luck that the film was alright.. it was just nuts. :spit

Hopefully I'll be able to work with him again.. learn a few new tricks.

Was it folded onto the adhesive side and did he use his third arm to do it?

But I do like to hang Huper, alot of people think it is a b|tch to hang but I dont mind it at all, to me I think it is a little easier except for the fact that it doesnt always drop by itself, but there are ways to fix that. I do work for 2 different huper dealers here in dallas.

      Just to update previous post. the Nissan Ariya. Owner came back said.he went to Dealership They said it s some kind of rubber channel. I think it s defect. I ran my blade over n it kinda disappeared.

      Lucid Air- tinting issues

      We finished the car and the rear doors are really the only issue. The panel needs to be removed, then the power screen has to be removed, then you need plug the screen back in and leave the panel off. The window can be nudged up and down from the driver door. This is how we did it, if anyone has a better way, please share.

      I'm half way through tinting a Lucid Air and just thought I would give you all a heads up. The rear doors on this model have screens which are in the way. Even if you tint with panels on, it will be a problem. There's a wide rubber molding that is also in the way. Add in $$ for time and effort.
