I am currently using Llumar and I was wondering if all the tint in 05% are the same visibilty looking out from the inside because I know of One way affect films but that is more resedential. Thanks for the Input. PMan

each film has different "clarity"

the LLu-lu you are using has some of the highest clarity of any film in the biz

Not only do the different manufacturers have more or less clarity.....

the way the metal is applied ......sputtered or vapor coated, and other factors

affects different films from the same company, in clarity

the reflectivity from the inside looking out can be decreased by using a color-stable dyed film

instead of a HP metallized hybrid, which greatly helps visibility at night

:lol whats giving you trouble

Not everyone is precise in targeting 5% visible light transmission...

Color will also affect visibility because of films' ability in screening different wavelengths of light.

For instance, LLu's now discontinued Centaur 38 would pass NC VLT metering whereas an ATR CH of the same VLT would not, when used on the same auto glass.

It is suspected that the Centaur more blue appearance fooled the light meters.

Saw Mercedes on the road yesterday with all blue (IR absorbing) glass... though the VLT may be similar to other auto glass, this stuff was easier to see into. :twocents
