I started tinting last June. All I knew was the Mdog soap method from reading these forums. Since them I have tried the baby power, and the wet method. Fubbared them both up. Went back to the soap method and had the back glass shrunk in 10 mins. WOW.. did I say 10 mins? LOL guess I'm getting better than my 1 hour back glass shrink WOOT !!!!

It's by far the best, I dont have it down completely yet.

But its like very other method, you just practice practice practice.

Not necessarily easier to shrink than powder, just easier to know when it's done. The film clings to the glass, less lifting at the corners, no added powder contamination, and no water check necessary (even when reverse rolling right on the glass).

The more curve the glass has the better it works! Totally eliminates fingers on the b-g!It just fits my style perfect! Wet shrank for years-after 4 bglasses I was on a roll!

Soap application is easier for those that are new to the biz. A bit more forgiving, first application method I taught my son.
