just tinted a lexus is 300 with 35% in suntek infinity, and it shrunk great and looks great.BUT...it was a pain in the a.. down by the speakers I even took out the book binder to swipe the window. any other tools works well down there?

I have one of those 6" scrappers for 1 inch razors, I take and put a card in the scraper and that lets me reach.

I do the window tinting for Coliseum Lexus of Oakland and when I do IS300's, I usually remove the rear seats, rear deck tray and speakers. This way your jobs will come out cleaner but occassionally a customer does not want everything apart so I tuck the film behind the brake light and use a slammer or clipboard. Usually works for me.

Yea, I know it is alot of work taking everything apart but if it will ensure a near perfect tint job, then I am all for it. Of course I do charge about $225 for the rear 5 windows on that car.

The problem I find Qveon is getting enough pressure on the card. What can happen is that air smudges within the wet area behind the speakers which is hard to get out and never dries out clean IMO.

try a 12 inch black n white combo same thing as the 6 only it's 12 inchs. wow double the size and double the plesure! only a girl should be able to awnser this, unless your wrist is limp! :thumb

I take the decklids and seats out too. Those speakers and speaker covers are like a cheese grader on the knuckels. Plus, much easier and cleaner install. I find it takes longer trying to get the film to lay down nice with the stuff in the way than taking it out and having access to it.
