Hi, In my local area I have a choice between solar gard film and llumar films.

The question I have it what is llumar titanium? It does not appear on the llumar web site but the specs that the installers claim seems great! They say 85% heat rejection. Is this true?

If not then which tint would have a better heat rejection:

1. llumar titanium

2. llumar charcoal

3. solar gard charcoal

Looking for about 20%

Thanks! Its getting hot in florida!

The film is the new ATR type. I'm not sure why they call it titanium if they have dropped it in the US.

I dont think it's the same film

The 85% is a mis-quote.

Thanks for all the help guys, They most likely put the 85% sign on the wall so they could get customers to pay the upcharge. I would have gladly paid it if the 85% was true, however im glad I came here first. :DD It definately said titanium plus on the sign!

I ended up going with the solargard and am happy so far. I can at least touch my steering wheel after the car has been sitting in the sun all day.
