Effective Practice Exercises?

I have 4 intact side windows (driver, passenger) and one rear window that I removed from a wrecked 733i BMW before junking the body :spank , and I want to use these to develop my tinting skills.

I plan on building some kind of a stand so I can stand the wondows up, buy as much tinting film as I can afford, and, as I've read in this forum, practice, practice, practice.

I know this there's nothing like applying tint film in an actual car, but, at the least, I hope to develop my skills in laying the film down on the vertical glass without creasing the film, learn how to use the heat gun, getting bubbles out, using the tinting tools, etc.

Can someone guide me on the best way to approach this. :finger: Which film should I buy to practice with? What are some of the most important skills to develop? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Dave
