The lady I sold some film to came back today to ask more questions. She wanted to know once you remove the clear piece, which surface do you apply to the glass. :DD

I asked her if the crap she originally bought was in a box, and if it was, there are usually instructions on the box. She left, still confused. She called back later to ask more questions, but I was saved by the secretary. All this confusion and aggravation to save a buck. My secretary told here if there were any more problems, we would be happy to come out and take a look at the film, for a fee. She said she would let us know. :DD

I won't sell film like that.

If they are persistant, I give them a price just under the installed price.

Unless she's real cute and wants to trade?? :DD

Can't trade it out, she retired like 20 years ago or sometihing.:DD

But we are going to adopt a new policy of not selling film off the roll.

dude they all need a little loving :lol2

and for the question - yes I will sell film to anyone at 25 cents less than the installed price. I make --- amount of profit

off that and then when I have to redo it they think 25 cents per sq foot is reasonable labor :DD

:DD

I have only sold film to one friend that can tint as well as I do......

A customer that tries to tint their own windows and does a lousy job would only tell their friends that they got their tint from me and make a bad name for it........

Just tell them that you give them the film.....only charge for the labor and the knowledge of what it takes.
