No, off of the on/off switch needs a hose or in my case copper pipe that connects on the in. side of the pump( I use a pond pump and it works perfect) the pump will send the water into a another hose the connects to the pressure washer. Remember, that gravity has very little pressure therefore you need to create it for the water to move into your pressure washer!

I was wondering what the specs are on the pump you are using? or do you have a picture or brand/model? Also, what kind of pressure washer do you use with it? I have a small 1650 electric pressure washer that I need to connect to a 15 gallon tank. Do you think a small pump like this: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/disp...temnumber=66094 or this: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/disp...temnumber=47137 would work? Thanks!
