Cut against the ceramic

I know, I know. Cut the tint on the outside of the glass then hang it. But why? Isn't the "Dot Matrix", as everyone is calling it, as well as the rest of the black window edge, ceramic? Why not cut an inch over, hang it, then cut against the ceramic surface. I know there are probably 50 reasons for not doing it this way and hopefully I will hear them all, as well as see a bunch of asshats. but that's what the board is here for isn't it? thanks

yes :bingo !

no one wants a bunch of over hang on the inside of the window once installed thats why they cut it to overly fit by 1/8 inch give or take a 1/16th of an inch, and why spend the time cutting it with your body all twisted up in the back seat!

td almost like trimming a visor, I was called out to fix a visor that was put on by someone eles and they had scratched or I should say cut into the glass and there was no way I was working on that truck, the customer was pleased that I told her about it and promptly called her husband to have him get it right with the other tinter!
