guys any non-abrasive glass cleaner that can be purchased by a consumer somewhere like WM is "safe" for tint. I personally use a mix of 70% rubbing alcohol and water for my glass cleaner. I have used this for the last 7 years and found it works as good or better than any other product that I could buy. I use the sprayway foamy cleaner for cleaning the inside of a rear window with defrost, but that is to make an extreme clean window.

alcohol and water! very inexpensive and works great!

any good professional film will have a hard coat, scatch resistant coating, that would in essence seal the film from any sort of thing such as drying by alcohol. The films are pourous as they would never allow the mounting solution to dry otherwise.

I don't really see that alcohol would effect the film. They are made for the real world.

Correct me if I am wrong guys.
