Hello, This is the second 2006 Z06 we have had in the shop and we swore afer the seventh peice we threw on the floor never again,LOL. Anyone have any suggestions for a speedier install.

1 piece it turn down the heat and go slow on back glass it hot hard to do.

try getting a few fingers on the sides..small ones that dont go into the open part of the glass (keep them on the black border part of the window) this way they will be cut off wene you trim the excess off.and there wont be as much film to shrink..and shrink the most curved part of the window first..the bottom is the most difficult part...the top is cake

also...to minimize the shrink...when you do the H pattern..us alot of water for the H pattern..and as you anchor it...pull the film toward you..and this will shink up the fingers...giving you less area to shrink

Ive found that the key o the 05 up Vette rear window is just patience. We are a busy shop and are used to knocking out a normal back window in 5 minutes. So when a new Vette comes in I tell my guys before they start on he back window to just slow down. Do the bottom curved sections first they are the toughest. Then just like what another member said, leave as many small fingers on the sides as possible, then shrink the top. You may still have a few fingers left that that just will not shrink any more. After the liner is peeled the film will shrink a little more. But just Take your time with it.
