Guest SIR TINTSALOT

gonna have to try some of that hanita 5%, some people just don't understand no matter how many times you tell them, but if it is safe for duallies then I won't have to tell them no.

MY understanding was that on any annealed glass, that you wouldn't wantto go darker than about 35% to ensure no breakage.

What? :lol6

yes u are confused. When installing on dual pane windows you go by absorbtion and not by % or transmittance. There are %5 films out there that are dual pane safe, like the hanita %5 that they are all talking about. You want to keep absorbtion under %50. Some people say less then 50% but it is a safe #.

There is also some other things to take into consideration like altitude and shading and a few other variables. What ever film you carry the manu should have a film to glass chart you can go by to ensure that if there is breakage that it is covered by the warranty.
