I was interested in learning how to do window tinting, I don?t just want to buy the stuff and learn on my own, I want to know how to do it professionally. I was wondering if anyone here knew anyone in southern California like the inland empire area (palm desert, indio etc) or in the san diego area that could tech me for a reasonable price??? :beer

Im not sure what is considered reasonable anymore.

And everyone around here will prefer something different on learning.

Read as much on this site as you can. This is by far the best resource for learning how to tint there is.

That xx will buy you a lot of practice tint and tools.

My suggestion would be to find a shop to go to work for around there and practice all you can on the side.

Flat rock Stan, aka the tint professor, runs a school and it looks really good on his website.

I seem to remember he does a set of dvds if you're too far away but he's in the states somewhere.

Maybe someone else can help with the location / Stan's website?

Cheers

Hey Stan,

Now that I'm pluggin the school, can I jump on a 747 and see some of those tips first hand..... :spit:hmmm

I'd be willing to do a couple of weeks in the shop ( just don't mention the green card :spit )

Just Put us up and get lots of :hmmm:dunno:beer

I might even be able to drag potzy over as well if we can get him off the bike!
