Guest fareal
Got an '06 Pontiac Vibe (just like the Toyota Matrix) tinted the other day. The shop didn't remove the door panels and didn't tuck the film on any of the roll down windows. They used Solar Gard HP Charcoal. Should I be concerned? Visually it looks fine since the outside rubber/felt is higher than the inside you can't see the tint line from outside the car. But is it going to peel up from rolling the window up and down? Guest 1PEECBARETTA
You should be okay, espessially if you left the windows up fully for the specified amount of time. Since most new cars have a double flap rub rail, and most of the time a tinter is not going to try and get the edge of the film way down inside the door to get past both.If its going to survive going past the lower one, the upper should posses no further problems

So far so good.. it's only been a day and no roll down accidents. They recommended 4 days before rolling down.
VIP tint + glass
plenty of shops do it that way. its not my preference, but you should be okay. if not it should be covered under your warranty for peeling.
Guest darkdan
Just as long as they squeeged the bottom edge well there shouldn't be any problems.

Texastintchick
If they used the straight edge of the film or have a very good cut at the bottom it will be fine
