still keeping my shop. I aint goin back on the road.

so im gonna down my jeep, v8 swap. gonna be naughty.

same time I have a couple huge dealership accts. in the works.

so as a multipurpose rig, personal and work. I was leaning towards a late 90's astro. seems the rig of choice out there.

so shopping I go.

any suggestions? I know the intake maifold gaskets are problematic. anything else I should be looking to avoid?

On the 4.3 they seem to be common for fuel sytem problems as well.

Fuel pumps, injectors, and the a/c compressors crap out on them.

I have a 4.3 in my S10, it's basically a 350 Chevy, minus 2 cylinders.

It has 187,000 miles and it's still kickin'.

Just spent 600.oo+ to fix the a/c though.(Compressor seal crapped out)

Installed a rebuilt compressor, dryer and expansion valve plus the freon.

Takes dolla's to stay cool!!!$$$$

Good engines though, all in all.

Can't say much for the van chasis though.... :beach
