Well I thought I would share my latest custom tint job. I apainted this truck about a month ago. I wanted to tie the graphics in with the tint and finished it up the other day. Turned out pretty good and my buddy was extremely happy. Hope you all like. :hump

Thanks. I apply legal first like tinting it normally and then with 20%, I cut to the shape of the window, draw my design and free hand cut and apply over the 35%. With a lot of experience, tint on tint sticks better then on glass just as long as there are no sharp points. All my custom tints are still perfect and they go back as far as 8 years.

Dude that is insane, did you cut and apply the stars first?

Wasn't there dust trouble because it seems dust wants to stay on the edges of the tint that was cut out.

Oh and it there a air bubble line around the stars??

Come on, spill the beans, lets here it!!! LOL

:lol6 I used to do free hand but the possibilities of using a plotter out weighed my doubts for getting one. Cut and applied with carriage tape eliminates most of the contamination problems. Air around the edges is apparent but dosen't effect the overall appearance. Heres a more intricate one.

Feckin Hell Billy!!!!!

That renault is the most extreme tint job I've ever seen.

Amazing stuff mate - you keep raising the bar for the rest of us.....

Is that 50% or 70 on the fronts? :dunno:thumb:blah

Super cool mate :bat

I'd forgotten how excited I got about this type of thing when you showed it to us on the first visit.

I can think of lots of applications in the sign biz ( rear windows on vans etc)

Potzy told me he saw it (that starry renault Billy posted) on the road the other week on his way back from a track day but couldn't get his camera out quick enough :thumb

Post some more of this stuff Billy, in it's own topic as I was looking for that Renault pic after potzy told me about it, but only just came across it.

Cheers

Joe
