Anyone have pics with vynil over the dot matrix?

I use a product called Pro bond .it seems to work really well and it makes it stick like crazy.

Alot of times it dosent even look white but it does smell real bad ,about give you a buzz

My customers love the vinyled look.

What they love is more important to me since they're the ones paying for it.

If you wanted to be polite you wouldn't have had to make a point to disagree with me and just posted your pics.And yes the vinyl does look crappy up close.Dan when you come to visit I'll show you how a real window tinter lays film on the dots and makes it look good.

all I wanted was pics. My customers do complain about the way the matrix looks after tint so to me this is a solotion that I have not tried.

I like the way the vynil looks in the pics.

What mm should it be 3mm?

Vinyl is a crutch for those that can't get it right. They use it to hide creases,to lessen the amout of area they have to shrink, things like that. There are plenty of threads around here to help you deal with the matrix area. Look around and try some out, it will make your work alot better, and ultimately satisfy your customers.

It's true that with proper prep you can make the matrix stick nicely on most cars, even cavaliers. I use a red scuff pad agressively, then razor then flush, and after tint is on flush w straight water, not solution, squeege out w yellow or red turbo, looks great.
