Dot matrix on audi a4, any good solutions? Not vinyl.

I don't want to put vinyl on it, and the installer says that they will only do half the dot matrix, leaving an untinted band around the edge. I don't want to tell them how do their job, so I would like to hear your solution, and find someone else who can do this. Thanks for any help.

Connecticut, USA. The tinters I have talked to have all said that they will tint only half the matrix

Wow you must have some really shi**y tinters if they will only do half/ You should tell them well im going to only pay you half of what your price is.

Haha, tinters complain about nitpicking customers, customers complain about lousy tint jobs. But what can I do about the dot matrix? They all say that they are going to leave 1cm wide untinted area because the dot matrix is too thick.
