Did my second VW Bug today. Baby powder shrink in 10 minutes .... THANK YOU JOHNSONS! My first one took about 45 minutes but got in done flawless and in 1 piece ... I think I was very cautious since id never done one before but I flew thru this one today and it turned out perfect too! I gave myself a pat on the back. Its nice too, cuz there isnt 1 other shop within a 50-100 mile radius that does them in 1, everyone does them in 2. :coffee

What do you do about the wide dot matrix at the top? if anything.

I tucked the tint up in there and laid it down, looked pretty good actually, got pics on the way.

I tint the dot matrix and it doesn't look half as bad as mustangs or cavaliers.

Did you anchor the film low on the glass or high? Or was it just right in the middle?

just one swipe right thru the middle, no sides. just shrunk it like any other shrinking, didnt move the tint up, then back down or anything, I was really suprised.

The bug isnt as harder if you just do it and dont worry that its a BUG! I did one monday-the whole car in 1 hour 10 minutes-in one piece-nice!!!! :bat I also tint the matrix and it looks pretty good!
