I made a similar one after seeing the pics.. mine holds 24" tape and is taller....

Works GREAT!! I can lay perfect 24" x 10' tape in seconds with that baby!

Here's what I use. An old take up reel from a printer. Works great! I can change out the different sized rolls of tape within seconds and don't have to work it through the two tubes.
