3 parts to solar energy:

Visible Light = 44%

UV = 3%

Infrared = 53%

Films reject a portion of each in various ways:

UV absorbers

Visible Light Transmission

IR Absorbtion

Solar Energy Reflectance

Solar Energy Absorbtion and Convection

What makes up "Solar Energy" rejection in film.

I believe it is visible light transmission, uva, uvb and visible light reflection.

Don't worry about UVB. Glass filters that out, only UVA makes it in...
