How do you get clean corner cuts?

Most corners are recessed so you have to make a relief cut to get the film to lay in the corner without crimping. Then it's just a horizontal cut and a vertical one. :evilgrin

Cut a 'Dog Leg" (what the guy how showed me called it) :evilgrin

then using guide (or just your knife) cut one side Vert one side Horz

you should be able to push the tint in without creasing it

you should be able to get a nice point 90 degree point

I never do it that way because if you cut the dogleg a little short you've trashed the sheet.

I prefer to cut down and across in little stages to eliminate the bunching into the corner.

This is also the way I do it, however Johnnytint's explanation is a good way as well ( I just learned the other way first is all) Excellent pics and description Johnnytint :beer

I use my 5 way to and get perfect 90 degree cuts every time. I take the film and push it in with my finger but the part that I push is lower then the corner of the glass so I dont get any creases.
