You can use a clipboard or a binder cover as a squeege also for behind the brakelight.. I used those for years before somebody ACTUALLY came out with a tool that would work.

ON a 94 I think if you pop the trunk there are a couple bolts that hold it on, just remove those and push down on the carpet around the brakelight and manuver it out :shock

I might be wrong but give that a try, I forget what year they went to the light that is molded in with the plastic deck.

okay, here's the run down. the studs on the brakelight are too long to get past the deck. so push down on the deck real hard to get the studs past it.
