It's is possible, however, I personally don't recommend it. The less heatgun you use on or near a car the better, especially if you are a novice. Get a $50 wagner steamer( home depot sells them). Learn how to use it and the results are amazing and safe.

different adhesives react differently to different techniques and methods

all of the above (expept the oven cleaner) work..it is a crap shoot at what is going to work on any giving R/R..you just have to experiment on different R/Rs..one way isnt always going to work as well on another

I used the torch to sweat a backglass, worked alright, just took too long. I prefer sweating if I have the time and sun. Otherwise yeah, the steamer is alright.

:banned . Except for the torch. Fortunately out here there's maybe 7 to 10 days where you may not have any sun.
