I know everyone has their own way to stop the noise when the driver's door is open. usually you can trick the door latch. I'm doing a 01 M5 BMW. it has a boutton that is surrounded by plastic. I cut off a piece of scrub pad and lodged it in the hole. dinging is gone. I know you can turn the key another notch and it will soon stop. this way saves the power on the car. :lol2

I don't even hear it anymore :lol , But it sure does keep the customers out of the bay!!! :lol2 (except for the pricks who insist on turning the ignition off when your back is turned!!! :lol

I hate that Shiatt !!!! And they always say, "oh, sorry".... I wanna biatch slap those dudes....
