hard to get used to the CS series, not for the newb's I think

3M 'cs' is not as easy to shrink as Llumar. 3M 'fx' is a cakewalk to shrink but dosent look as good (I think it's really a 5 yr film). Even a experinced tinter will have some issues with 'cs' and you should add about 20% more time needed to do a car with it. On the plus side. 3M 'cs' is a good upsale product.

yeah I just switched to 3M and I love the CS line....they are right though, it is a lot different to shrink than say an HP line, but once you get used to it its awesome to work with

Try shrinking CS 5% (yes is't legal here) The stuff is like cardboard.

Not to mention that it wont stick to dots no matter what. Ya, it's a nice film, but it has problems.

Anywhere that it touches a seal will eventually get impression marks.

A baby seal walks into a CS 5%......

I think the CS shrinks too fast. I turn on my heat gun on the other side of the room and it starts reacting.

3M CS is the bane of my existence.

I've never had shrinking problems, guess cuz I've used some trash before when I worked for others. But I think TD may be talking about the thickness and slow to heat. I don't get to use CS 5% on back glass here, but I know it's thick. I usually use dual guns on everything except some of the thinner reflective tints. That's just to keep out the "waves" that show up so easy on mirror
