contamination - re-do or $$$ back?

It's my first car so I was feeling very protective of it. :p

I know, but I was more talking the cost vs result. More than likely you are not a millionaire if you are driving a Yaris, therefore, expending a few hundred dollars over a couple little scratches is probably not the smartest way to spend your money.

Hehe I did buy this car because I'm a cash strapped college student.

I'll just keep calling around and see if there are any shops that can at least reduce how much the scratches show.

you should be able to find a glass shop that can "polish" the glass, but if you can feel the scratch then it is less likely that they will be able to do much. There is also the fact that it is tempered glass and to really polish that deep of a scratch you would have to get the glass hotter than would be good.

Get a sticker of something "cool" and cover up the area if you really are bugged by it....
