Inside grids on doors

I did a job one time on the plastic framed door with no grids (N1035 Bronze). I removed the frame for a nice clean fit. I got a call 2 months later. Perhaps I tighten the frames up too much, but the film buckeled in the corner. Now I won't do that anymore.

When I tighten them, I do it enough that it pulls both sides/grids together, but I don't crank down on them too much... If I see a finger starting to form or whatever I back off a bit.

As long as the grid is secure and fairly tight around the door it should be good to go.
