Dangling my feet

Recommended Posts

Hey ya'll, I did a search and read that this forum has been done away with, and I dont want to bash anyone, just want to ask if this stuff can be installed on headlights. I have never attempted to use any, but get plenty of calls and literature in the mail. The headlight question came from my local nissan dealer, they have a customer wanting this on his hedlights on a new titan. I told him that I didn't think so since they are plastic, but just thought I would dangle my feet in the fire here and ask those who know the business. :lol6

there is a clear product that is made for headlights. they also make colored films for them. Stongard makes the clear and 44tool.com did sell them a few years back. I could not find the info on the webpage myself, but found one company selling headlight protection via a google search for "Stongard"

Today's headlights are made from an outer casing and a replaceable bulb. The outer casing is made of Lexan. The Lexan :lol6 usually :bat will not break, but over time rocks will chip at it and it will turn cloudy. 3M makes a new product for headlights as do others. PPF "can" be used but is not really designed for it nor will the manufactures cover it for any warranty claims on a headlight.
