Tried a new film today

I have been looking for a film that is HP , good quality and nice to install.

I recieved some samples of Madico Onyx 20% and installed it a vehicle today.

I normally use LLu ATR but find it a bit too green and shiny sometimes.

I took a picture of the 2 cars side by side, the Blue on the left is with Onyx and on the right is Llu ATR on the back end.

I will carry both lines I think. Are there many other Onyx users on the board?? I found it took longer to shrink than my ATR but I got it down OK.

That Lulu is awful green looking isn't it. Never used the madico, I've used sungard,johnson,advantage,3m,suntek,express and so far my favorite color is global qdp which has the best color ive seen out of any of them. Not the best film to work with but has one awsome color IMO. BTW: the madico on that car looks pretty nice.

I tried the onyx shortly after it came out following the autolux and granite. It has a very nice color and is easy to work with. I just couldn't see being another test dummy for their film like I was with autolux and granite. After all these years I hear that it hold up nice though. :lol2

I have tried the Global QDP but it is branded differently in the UK - it was a bit thin for my liking, it looked nice on the car. Although the madico is a bit more money, when you spread the cost over the number of cars per roll it's negligable.

I would like to see the advantage films over here - I like the look of there ADN film. I believe it's a HP with very little reflection.

I must say that the Madico Onyx looks great on that Blue car - I'd also like to see it on a nice black car.

I know you were not asking me but I use global and it seems to be very good to work with. I have the Charcoal HP in 20 & 35 and havent had any complaints at all. I do want to try to QDP line as well. Of course you should also know that I have not used any other brand yet. This is what I started learning with and continue with now. :lol2
