Don't feel bad. I have been tinting for 19 years and somehow never came across a 96 'vette until about 3 weeks ago. It took me 3 pieces of film before I got it right and I can shrink a beetle in about 3 minutes. The top corners were so curved that the tint ran out of room to shrink until I pulled on it from the start. I assumed it was going to be an easy window like a late 90's camaro until I got to the outside edge of the window. Just pull it firmly as you shrink it and you should be fine. Also, I recommend doing it dry with a dryer sheet or baby powder. I find that to be easier.

Didnt seem hard at all. After 10 years this was my first vette this body style...seems ive done ALL other years. Done with CharCOOL 5%. I did it using wax. I got my ladder out and tied a strap to the perlins on the roof to hold the glass up.
