Why is it that doing contract work for shops never last? They always run the tinter up the wall and when he quits the contract work, they call eveyday. I guess they figured out that John who washes cars really can't tint like he said!! :ohcrap

not sure, but it must have been worth it to take the contract at what they were paying since they were selling the jobs and awnsering the phones leaving you or who ever to just tint the windows.

Hand car washes don't last, and if they do the owners change every 12 months, mother nature always wins and the machine wash pounds them out for less $$$. In my area you would be shocked how many big money autos are lined up at the washing machine joint, they don't care enough to appreciate a hand wash or spend triple the dough.. they may not have the money to pay a quality out source tinter so Juan the tire cleaner torches a Benz door panel or even worst a headliner. then it is time to call you back...DUH!!

They figure it looks simple enough and see the cost of film at Wally World, so why should they pay a ton of extra cash to you ?

They can give their own person $8 perhour to do it and have more money for themselves.

Then they realize watching you do it and them doing it does not equal the same quality work.

Contract.... :hmmm A writen deal with a dealer.... :dunno Never heard of it... :hmmm

Either I can do the work, or I cant.....I answer my phone, or I dont.

If I have a "contract" with a dealer, bodyshop, or whomever, writen or word, I need to be there for them, when they call....if I'm not....The work goes to the other guy... :dunno

Unless I offer to go to the custy's Home or Office to make them happy.

I try not to over-extend myself.....thats why scheduling is soooooooooo important.

:hmmm
