A caller said another company offered laser cut film. No kidding, awhile ago a customer asked the wife about the laser cut film and she busted out laughing and said that company was talking :DD the guy figured they were and came to us for his window tinting.

I don't know what I would of said but laughing would come close. :lol6

I remembered the laser thing from Zolars post today.

Wouldn't you think a laser would burn the film edges and as far as price of the equiptment for a laser cutter, it wouldn't be worth it :lol6

to get one with a bed big enough to cut a back glass would be a LOT of money

but you can turn the power down low

I bet the beam would bounce off metalized film like a mug though

which is why low powered lasers dont cut metal well

:lol6

Get done cutting the film, and take it to the customer and show them how good your Laser Cutting is !

Of course, they are not allowed into the shop area due to Insurance Regulations !!!!

you are not suggesting that someone was not totally honest about how the film was cut are you? :lol6 Or are you saying we all should do that too. Therefore bringing the prices of the laser cutters down. Maybe we all aready use laser cutters how are the olfa snap off blades made? If noone looks into it I would say laserzzzzzzzz

I am just going to get a laser pointer and when someone inquires have it by where the cutting is being done. :DD
