Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I do feel a bit confused, but now I can do more specific research on your suggestions.

BTW, I live about 5 miles from the water in Long Beach, CA - a large city overshadowed by Los Angeles. The strange thing about Southern California (among other strange things) is that even if you're standing on the beach, the humidy is low. We only have high humidity if it's raining or you're in the ocean. Definitely nothing like Florida. Yes, we get a few high humidity days, but they're very rare if it's not raining.

Any installer suggestions?

Costa Mesa is only a 20 to 300 minute drive, depending on traffic.
