how big of a piece did you get...and did you apply it to a window...I have found that the syds is a lot less reflective once you install it on a window...then it looks just sitting there in your hand

:rollin

I think that all films are actually less reflective once applied to the glass in comparison to sample form :dunno

AND they also appear lighter once the contrast of the clear glass and the small sample is eliminated, creating a uniform appearance.

Chances are that nobody will ever even notice your windows even if you go with a darker, more reflective film. As long as you go with a dual reflective film, (less reflective on interior surface), chances are that even you will forget the film is on the glass. The glass appearance will be uniform on both the interior and exterior... That is as long as you are doing all of the windows in the same exposure, which I am assuming that you are.

Regardless of your decision, anything is going to help the glare, but the darker the better :rollin

optitune15onleft.jpg

The one on the left has optitune 15% on it. The others do not.

optitune30onright.jpg

The door on the right has optitune 30 on it. The others do not.

As you can see, Low-E glass already has a great deal of reflection anyways.
